September is National Sewing Month !
"The observance of September as National Sewing Month began with a proclamation from President Ronald Reagan. In 1982, he declared this special month-long celebration 'In recognition of the importance of home sewing to our Nation.' ” *

No Meeting September 4, Labor Day - Corona NG
Meetings on the 1st Monday of the month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sewn Together, 1700 Hamner Ave., Norco.
Coming in October and November: Cartonnage box hands-on project led by Cheryl.
Cartonnage boxes are no-sew fabric covered boxes using chipboard. https://www.colorwayarts.com
Supplies are required and some are ordered on-line, so contact Judy soon if you are interested in joining in.
September 5, Tuesday – Temecula Valley NG
Meetings on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
September ASGIE Members Only program is making a duct tape dress form and will be held at a member’s home. Contact Denise** for location and supply list.
Coming in October, November, and December:
Pants Fitting at Moore’s in Temecula.
No meeting, see you in October – Riverside
12 Month Challenge NG
Meetings on the 2nd Monday of the month, 10:00 – 11:30 am, Westmont Village Sewing Studio, 17050 Arnold Drive, Riverside.
Come share your projects in October.
September 16th, Saturday – Sit, Sew and Snack
Meetings on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3041 N. Sierra Way, San Bernardino.
A potluck lunch is in the middle between 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Monthly program: Show & Share; work on your own projects or help a friend.
September 19, Tuesday - FAR (Fabric Artists of Riverside) NG
Meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of the month,1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Arlington Public Library, 9556 Magnolia, Riverside.
September: Hong Kong lining/underlining, sleeve ruching taught by Pats
Coming in October: Burrito finished yokes and collars
September 25th, Monday - STEP UP!
Meetings on the 4th Monday of the month, 10 am -12:00 pm
Westmont Village Sewing Studio, 17050 Arnold Drive, Riverside.
The focus is on individual commitment to growing and improving sewing skills of YOUR choice. Come prepared to share 1 – 3 goals of your choosing.
Calimesa - Sew at Home

Members coordinate projects and sew from home.
