Special Event

What a fabulous day of Friends, Fun and Fabric!
19 people were in attendance enjoying each other's company and working on a variety of projects including: machine and hand sewing, quilting, embroidery, knitting, and community sewing fidget mats for dementia patients. The Special Cork Soda Can Kozzie was a hit and of course, the Fabric Swap was very popular.
Here is what some of the participants had to say:
"Indeed it was a blast! ...The fabric swap was so much fun." LIna
"There were quiet corners and not so quiet corners, but everyone was so energized to be there. I heard a lot of positive comments and a desire for us to do this again." Cheryl
"All the ingredients for a terrific day! Can't wait for the next one!" Terri
"The sew-in was so fun. Seeing friends and sewing - what could be better. And a fabric exchange too." Margaret
"It was a great time sharing our passion for sewing with a great group of ladies!" Trudy
"It was great to see and socialize with the other sewists that attended. It is so inspiring to see what others are working on and the great work that they do." Sherrie
"It was so good to see old friends again
and pick up where we left off , renewing old friendships and finishing projects . if you were not able to attend this time , consider joining us in the future !" Christina
