The 2023 Chapter Challenge
This year we are having a Chapter Challenge and we are inviting all of you to participate! The subject is the ever-popular tee shirt.
The tee shirt is over 100 years old and it's come a long way from its humble beginnings. What started out as an undergarment to sailors in the U.S. Navy has become popular as an iconic staple in wardrobes worldwide.
Member Tee Shirt Challenge !
We want our members to create a tee shirt using whatever construction and embellishment techniques strike your fancy. It can be embroidered, piped, smocked, beaded, painted, stapled, snapped - just to name a few suggestions. You can make it into a tunic or dress as well. We want to see where your creative side takes you.
The "reveal" will be at our October 29th General Meeting and Fashion Show where participants will show off their tees. Save the date and start planning your project.
